Creative people are at their best when they are clear on why it is they do what they do. But rarely are we given the opportunity to find that within ourselves. The Internship is the space we are creating for that to happen.
The learnings will be unique to the time, place and space of delivery. What happens in 2010 will be completely different to the outcomes of 2011,
and that’s the way we want it.
One day per week for 12 weeks, students will be involved in a collaborative learning process including the participation of
the Josephmark team, the other interns and special guests to the School of Big Thinking.
Unlike other personal development opportunities, this learning is collaborative and The Program draws on the collective wisdom of the participants.
We know what it’s like to be so inspired, meet an amazing group of people and think: “I really want to work with them”. That’s the purpose of The Project.
The collective learning experience of The Internship would be incomplete without a collaborative project. The Interns will be given a series of briefs to execute during their placement.
The Interns will utilise skills they have developed through previous experience (BYO skills) and also be given the opportunity to apply skills learned through The Program and from each other.
One day per week for 12 weeks, students will be involved in a collaborative learning project including the participation of the JM team, the other interns and special guests to the School of Big Thinking.
We’re not one for standard interviews here at The School of Big Thinking. We’ve decided that in this case, we’re the client and we want our potential interns to present us with a blow-us-away pitch.
Show us how you Think Big.
It’s the purpose of The Internship and you will be expected to deliver on the brief continually throughout. We think it’s only fitting that answering this brief is your Golden Ticket.
The Panel consists of Big Thinkers that we have connected with through the School of Big Thinking. They are people who are already Big Thinkers, looking to invest in Big Thinking for the next generation.
You will present to The Panel on The Night.
We will be hosting an evening at Substation 4 to launch The Internship. It is here that The Interns will be selected.
